JEE Main Shift 2 Paper Analysis 4 April 2024: The National Testing Agency conducted the JEE Mains 2024 Session 2 Day 1 and Shift 2 exam on April 4. Students who are going to appear for the exam on April 5, 6, 8, and 9 can check the detailed question paper analysis of the April 4 exam to understand the nature of questions and syllabus coverage. Overall Shift 2 exam was Moderate.Compared to the morning shift, April 4 Shift 2 was easy.  Mathematics was lengthy and more difficult than Shift 1.   • Overall the Day 2 shift 2 exam was of Moderate level.
  • The chemistry section was easy to attempt. On an average students attempted 20 questions.
  • Like the earlier shift, Mathematics was difficult.
  • Comparatively, to 27 Jan Shift 1, this shift was easier.
  • The physics section was Moderate. Some questions were lengthy.
  • NCERT weightage of the 11th and 12th syllabus was balanced.
  • Likethe  2023-2024 paper only, easy questions based on NCERT only were asked in Chemistry
  • Questions in Mathematics were lengthy and complex to solve
  • 2 questions in Physics were asked from Assertion and Reason.
  • In physics, no questions from rotation were asked.
  • In Chemistry questions were more theoretical.
  • 7 to 8 questions were asked from Organic Chemistry.
  • In Chemistry there was a high weightage of Organic, Inorganic, and very less of Physical Chemistry.
  • In mathematics, the majority of the students attempted 7 to 8 questions.
